The O&M Plant Attendant works as a member of a small shift team and is responsible for the safe efficient monitoring of the Plant in line with business needs. Safe and efficient plant maintenance and improvement activities are also included within your remit.Based on our site at Slough UK your duties will include but not be limited to;Effectively react to support Operations and Maintenance during planned and unplanned (i.e. emergency) repairs blockages and changes in the plant central systems ensuring jobs are completed safely.Understand and ensure relevant requirements from Plant Operating (PPC / Environmental) Permit and other legal requirements relating to waste are implemented.Ensure plant cleaning schedules are fulfilled and a high standard of plant housekeeping is maintained at all times.Monitoring all areas of the plant during plant inspections and report back any defects issues and hazards on siteReporting to the relevant levels of management any contravention of statutory and HZI Safe working practices this includes reporting accidents incidents and near misses.The above job duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature of the work and are not intended to be an inclusive list of all responsibilities.
