Role Description


We are looking for accounting/finance graduates to monitor client money and assets by running internal and external reconciliation, adhering to corporate standards and applicable FCA rules with ongoing risk and controls mapping. Immediate start is preferred. After the successful training period of 6 months, we will consider making the right candidate a permanent employee.


This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Operations Analyst at Dinosaur Merchant Bank Ltd in Greater London. As a Junior Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for day-to-day operational tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.



Responsibilities


  • Dealing with the clearing and settlement of Equities and Fixed Income products.
  • Resolve settlement related issues and escalated as needed.
  • Facilitate and create mechanisms for trade flow, settlement, and reconciliation
  • for all new business.
  • Interaction with the company multiple clearing firms.
  • Working closely with clients and traders regarding breaks and PnL reports
  • Perform daily reconciliation using “in-house systems”.
  • Understanding of company workflows and trading.
  • Monitoring group inboxes providing appropriate responses and/or escalations to emails received.
  • Work in partnership with Middle and Front Office aiming to implement progress of operational changes across the company.
  • Assist with developing procedures and controls for the company


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Proactive and willing to learn.

·        Energetic, confident, trustworthy, and execution oriented.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Displays a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Adaptable to changes and driven to improve the Operations team agenda
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
