You will become the Test Equipment Architect specialising in the System Design of Test Equipment for missile and missile sub-systems, plus occasionally missile or weapon system simulators.


About the Role:

• Provide guidance on the Test Equipment Requirements and advise customers

• Disseminate requirements into a system design (produce Architecture Design Documents)

• Ensure the developed test system meets its system requirement


About You:

• Experience of Test Equipment Design, obtained over multiple projects

• Knowledge of Test Equipment Software, or software techniques and methods

• Knowledge of Systems Engineering approaches, ability to spot poor requirements

• Knowledge of Design For Test aspects, and ability to guide and inform the Test Architects/IVLs

• General knowledge/specialism in some of the following: Metrology, RF, Digital or Analogue Design, Power Electronics, Computing, Cyber or FPGA design


Key Information:

• Role: Test Equipment Architect

• Salary: Circa £60,000 Plus Bonus and Benefits

• Location: Stevenage – Hybrid – 2 Days Per Week On-Site

• Eligibility: Must Hold British Citizenship Due to Security Requirements (See More Below)


Key Skills:

Test equipment design, defence, TE software, design for test, systems requirements


Due to the nature of work undertaken at our client's site, incumbents of these positions are required to meet special nationality rules and therefore these vacancies are only open to British Citizens.
