This is a dynamic role that combines strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimisation to deliver industry-leading customer support. If you thrive in a challenging environment and want to make a real impact on JCB’s global supply chain resilience, this opportunity is for you.What does this role involve day to day?Manage a varied portfolio of suppliers across key commodity areas to support JCB’s global dealer and customer network.Source parts considering total cost of ownership, challenging suppliers on lead times, cost, quality, MOQs, and reliability.Respond to dealer enquiries quickly, providing quotations and ensuring parts availability.Drive cost-down initiatives through re-sourcing, localisation, rationalisation, and supplier negotiations.Work closely with cross-functional teams including Inventory, Customer Service, Technical Service, and Global Warehousing.Operate effectively within SAP and other systems to manage purchasing processes.This will be suited to you if...You have experience in purchasing or supply chain management, ideally with relevant accreditations.You are highly motivated, meticulous, and efficient with strong time management skills.You have experience in supplier negotiation and leading projects.You can communicate effectively with both upstream and downstream stakeholders.You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a customer-focused mindset.What happens next?Ordinarily, our Resourcing Team reviews and shortlists CVs.
