This leading and well-established software platform company based near Leeds, are expanding and looking for a Senior Python/Django Developer to join the team. The position is mainly home based bit there will be a need to visit the office from time to time and therefore it is preferrable for you to be based within a 1 hour commute of Leeds, Wakefield or Huddersfield

As a Senior Python/Django Developer, you will be integral in developing high-quality web applications and software solutions. This role is ideal for a seasoned developer with deep expertise in Python and Django, looking for the flexibility of a home-based position with occasional visits to our office. You will work on various projects, driving them from conception to implementation, ensuring robustness, scalability, and seamless functionality.

Within this varied role you will:

- development and maintenance of web applications using Python and Django.

- Design robust, scalable, and secure features.

- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

- Collaborate with a dynamic team to define and solve complex problems.

**What We're Looking For:**

- **Experience:** Around 3-4 years+ of professional experience in Python development, with a strong focus on Django.

- **Skills:** Proficient in Django, Python, and related frameworks. Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous.

- **Proximity:** Preference for candidates within a 1-hour commute of Leeds, Huddersfield, or Wakefield due to very occasional office visits.

- **Communication:** Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting.

- **Problem Solving:** Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically about software architecture and design.
