About the role…

We are looking for an enthusiastic Grounds Maintenance Sports Operative to help with the up keep of public spaces throughout the Gloucester district. You will carry out a wide range of routine grounds sports maintenance activities in various locations throughout the City in accordance with service level agreements. 

You will need…

  • Full driving licence to be able to drive a range of vehicles up to and including 3.5 tonnes gross weight
  • A basic knowledge of horticulture
  • A level 2 or 3 qualification in sports pitch maintenance or similar
  • A basic knowledge of health and safety requirements within a grounds maintenance environment
  • Previous experience of working with mobile or static plant and equipment.
  • To be a proactive team member with a positive attitude and customer focussed
