We are working with a leading name in the sports space on securing a ecommerce and product planner. The team have truly gone from strength to strength, becoming leaders in their field by putting people at the core of what they do.
The role:
This role is pivotal in the team, you will help manage inventory planning for both new and existing products and oversee product activation for all new product launches The role offers a lot of collaboration with the wider marketing, customer and warehouse teams to ensure the smooth running of their direct-to-consumer platform.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inventory Planning: Forecast and plan inventory for upcoming seasons, ensuring sufficient stock for new product launches and ongoing sales. This will also involve coordinating product launches
- Replenishment: Monitor best and worst sellers to manage in-season replenishment and maintain key styles and sizes in stock.
- Order Management: Place and manage orders, ensuring accurate delivery dates and stock availability – collaborate with warehouse teams on order processing and stock records
- Reporting: Analyze product trends and share insights to support business forecasting and decision-making.
- Price Management: Manage and adjust pricing for products throughout their lifecycle.
About you:
- Experience within inventory management, order raising, and managing product launches within a direct to consumer/retail sector.
- Strong team player, the team are all super collaborative
- Interest/experience gained within the sports industry would be advantageous
- Experience with eCommerce platforms, especially Demandware/Salesforce and Adyen, is advantageous.
