Here at Hobbycraft, we are looking for a CRM Manager to join the team based at our Head Office in Bournemouth. You will join us on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours. Our core business hours are Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm but we have a flexible approach to start and finish times.

Our hybrid working model is 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £32,000 DOE + pension with a 4% contribution, 25 days holiday increasing every year, 25% discount in our stores, hybrid working policy, Dog friendly office and many more

About the CRM Manager role:

Hobbycraft is the UK’s leading art and craft retailer with 124 stores across the UK, a website that has grown substantially over the last 5 years and an app that was launched last year. This is an exciting role that is vital to delivering and optimising our CRM activity, driving customer lifetime value and further growth for the business.

As the CRM Manager you will lead the execution and optimisation of our CRM campaigns in email, app notifications and other new comms channels. You will also lead and develop your team of designers and be a key contributor in the team that develops and delivers core activity and strategic CRM plans.

In doing all of this you will work closely with a knowledgeable and supportive team, enabling you to perform to your best and learn and develop further skills and knowledge as you go. Reporting into the Senior CRM Manager you will sit within the team responsible for customer acquisition and retention.

This is a fast paced and creative environment where your ability to work at pace, make commercial judgements and adapt to change will be valued.

What we're looking for in our CRM Manager:

  • A proven background in briefing, executing, measuring and optimising email or digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong organisational skills – able to plan and allocate resource for multiple campaigns and projects of varying complexity
  • Analytical, numerate and results orientated with good commercial judgement and KPI understanding
  • Customer focussed with a proven track record of considering customer segments and insight and applying this knowledge to marketing campaigns
  • Experience in leading a team, either direct reports or in a project scenario
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as part of a team and with senior stakeholders
  • Proven reporting skills and experience using reporting tools and Excel
  • Ability to assess creative against commercial goals and campaign objectives
  • Fast learner, ready to adapt and utilise new technologies as they become available
  • Ability to work at pace and adapt to change in a fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail is essential with good problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with bags of initiative and enthusiasm
