Value Stream Leader

Are you passionate about improving operational efficiencies and cost effectiveness? We’re seeking a highly motivated experienced Leader to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across our Llantrisant manufacturing operations. This role will lead cross-functional teams to optimize end-to-end value streams, eliminate waste, and enhance customer value delivery while maintaining our high standards for quality and regulatory compliance in life sciences manufacturing. All whilst driving a positive continuous improvement culture.Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Value Stream ManagementLead the value stream from raw materials through to finished goods delivery.Develop and implement value stream maps to identify improvement opportunitiesDrive lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiativesEstablish and monitor key performance indicators for operational excellence.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead cross-functional teams including planning, procurement, and logistics whilst working collaboratively with quality, manufacturing and engineeringCoach and develop team members in lean methodologies and problem-solving techniquesDevelop the strategy to foster a culture of Continuous Improvement and employee engagement. Facilitate daily management routines and Gemba walksPart of the leadership team to drive key objectives to deliver the site growth plansOperational ExcellenceDrive waste elimination and process optimisation initiativesLead root cause analysis and corrective action implementationEnsure compliance with regulatory requirements (HSE & ISO Stds )Implement planning best practices to optimize production schedules and inventory levelsPerformance ManagementMonitor & improve the safety, people, quality, delivery and cost metricsDevelop and execute improvement projects to meet the business objectivesReport out the KPI’s and improvement plans to corporate leadershipStrong Project management skill setRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Operations Management, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience preferably in life sciences/diagnostics.Proven experience with lean manufacturing, Six sigma or similar improvementWork closely with cross-functional teams to implement improvement plansExcellent leadership, communication and project management skillsExperience with ERP systems preferably SAP and data analysis tools.
