Quantity Surveyor Location - Frome, South-West (Hybrid working options) Temp to Perm Vacancy (Initially 6-months contract) TEMPORARY Day Rate - Up-to £350 / day Salary - £45k - 60K (depending on experience) once perm. A Quantity Surveyor is required to join a medium sized Civils Contractor on a temp-to-perm basis in Frome. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be required to manage costs and ensure the financial success of their surfacing, highways, and other civils projects, ensuring cost control, value engineering, and contract compliance. Responsibilities include: Preparing, managing, and monitoring project budgets, cost forecasts, and financial reports. Conducting detailed cost analysis, value engineering, and risk assessments. Administering NEC and JCT forms of contract, ensuring compliance and managing variations, claims, and final accounts. Procuring subcontractors and suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage commercial relationships. Measuring and valuing completed work. Processing payments and resolving any commercial disputes. Working closely with the site teams to ensure accurate record-keeping. Liaising with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
