Medical Records Officer (Bank)Thornbury HospitalBank ShiftsSalary: Up to 12.21 per hour (depending on level of experience training and qualification)Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield is part of Circle Health Group Britains leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.We have an opportunity for a Medical Records Officer to join their team of staff in theMedical Records department.This is a bank role working on an as and when required basis you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence. Candidates must be available to work during the office hours of 07:30 - 19:00 Monday - Thursday and 07:30 - 18:00 on a Friday.Duties of this role include:Prepare patient records for upcoming clinics admissions investigations and procedures.Ensure all required documentation (e.g. consent forms test results referral letters) is accurately filed and accessible for clinical teams.Locate and retrieve patient notes efficiently when requested by clinical admin or legal teams.Handle patient information with the highest standards of confidentiality and discretion.Support clinicians and administrative teams by ensuring timely access to complete and accurate records.Use electronic systems (e.g. hospital PAS EMR or EPR platforms) to log update and search patient data accurately.Applicants should meet the following criteria:Previous administrative experience ideally in a healthcare or records-focused role.Good understanding of confidentiality GDPR and information governance.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good organisational skills and ability to manage time and priorities effectively.Comfortable working with IT systems and databases.Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and respectful manner.Salary & Benefits:Circle Health Group offers a competitive hourly rate.Our culture is a result of the way our people live and breathe our philosophy which combines our purpose principles and values.To find out more about the Circle Health Group Philosophy: Experience:Unclear Seniority Key Skills Anti Money Laundering,Accomodation,Compensation,Instrument Maintenance,Hotel Front Office,Arabic Employment Type : Part-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
