Every product is custom-made in their purpose-built facility, covering a range of items like interior trims, acoustic headliners, and flooring systems.


Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Production Manager at Blachford UK Ltd in Holmewood. The Production Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, including deployment of labour, daily meetings and toolbox talks, manage the training and performance of production staff, set and drive KPIs, absence management, ensure parts are produced to the required quality level and carry out root cause analysis if not, manage 'right first time' and scrap/waste processes, utilise Lean tools to implement process improvements.


Qualifications

  • Experience in production management and manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles
  • Experience working with ISO9001 quality framework with a good understanding of process control and quality in production
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and production software
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in the automotive or industrial manufacturing industry preferred
  • Six Sigma Green Belt (preferred)
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • NEBOSH (preferred)
  • ILM Level 4/5 or NVQ Diploma in Management
  • HNC/HND in Engineering or Chemistry (desirable)
