Pertemps Lincoln are currently recruiting for a Workshop Operative to join our client in Lincoln. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity. The role is varied and hands-on, ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to develop their skills within a busy manufacturing environment.What will I be doing as a Workshop Operative? Building working with timber and plywood, creating products to specific customer requirements Using hand and power tools, including saws and nail gun Packing customer products Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within safety guidelines Keeping your work area clean and organised throughout the day Occasionally assisting with off-site work when requiredWhat skills and experience do I need? Previous workshop or manufacturing experience preferred Full UK driving licencedesirable but not essential Forklift licencedesirable but not essential Experience using bench saws or power tools would be advantageous Physically fit and able to work on your feet throughout the shift Self-motivated and able to work independently once trained Strong attention to detail and commitment to Health & SafetyWhat hours will I be working? Monday to Friday07:15 to 15:30 Overtime available depending on business needsWhat will I be paid? £12.21ph + (Depends on your experience)How do I apply?
