As a Cisco Meraki Wireless Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our clients' cloud-managed network infrastructures, with a primary focus on designing, deploying, and optimizing enterprise-grade wireless solutions. You will collaborate closely with network architects, project managers, and client stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance connectivity. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across the entire Cisco Meraki porolio, a strong foundation in core networking principles, and a passion for leveraging cloud technologies to solve complex business challengesKey Skills And Responsibilities● Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-grade Cisco andMeraki wireless, SD-WAN, switching, and security solutions.● Configure, monitor, and maintain the full suite of Meraki devices, includingwireless access points (MR series), switches (MS series), and security appliances(MX series), utilizing the Meraki Dashboard as the primary management interface.● Conduct wireless site surveys, RF planning, and performance analysis to ensureoptimal coverage, capacity, and reliability for high-density environments.● Apply expert-level knowledge of modern wireless protocols and standards,including Wi-Fi 6/6E/7 (802.11ax/be), and advanced security mechanisms such as802.1x, WPA3, and RADIUS authentication.● Provide high-level consulting support for clients on Meraki cloud adoptionstrategies, demonstrating the value of a centralized, cloud-managed architecture.● Troubleshoot and resolve complex wireless and network connectivity issues,performing deep-dive analysis of packet captures and leveraging the fulldiagnostic capabilities of the Meraki platform.● Segment networks logically across access, distribution, and core layers andoptimize WAN performance using routing protocols like OSPF and BGP within theMeraki SD-WAN framework.● Develop and maintain comprehensive design and configuration documentation,network diagrams, and operational runbooks.●Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration andalignment of network solutions with overarching business objectives.Requirements● 5+ years of hands-on experience in wireless networking and infrastructureengineering, with a significant focus on the Cisco Meraki platform.● Expert-level proficiency in the design, deployment, and management of CiscoMeraki full-stack solutions (Wireless, Switching, Security, SD-WAN).● Deep knowledge of wireless fundamentals, including RF principles, antennatheory, and protocols such as CAPWAP and LWAPP.● Proficient in using the Meraki Cloud Management Dashboard for configuration,monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting.● Strong foundation in core routing and switching protocols and concepts, includingOSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, and LACP.● Demonstrated experience with network security principles and technologies,including firewalls, content filtering, VPNs, and NAC solutions.● Cisco certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Wireless, or Certified MerakiNetworking Professional (CMNP) are highly preferred. A Certified WirelessNetwork Administrator (CWNA) certification is also advantageous.● Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the abilityto work independently on complex projects.● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complextechnical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
