Buyer (Aluminium and Tubes) Bristol 6-month contract £38 per hour (Umbrella) ARM are delighted to be supporting one of our top clients with the recruitment of a Buyer on an initial 6-month basis. The Buyer will be responsible for management of strategic Aluminium (Extrusions) suppliers. What you'll be doing: Accountable and responsible to deliver MFT projects on Time, Cost and Quality. Accountable for ensuring end-to-End management of the Aluminium ConBid Process. Support and contribute to deployment of the commodity strategy. Responsible for developing & maintaining key supplier and internal stakeholder relations. Lead Call for Tenders to ensure business needs, propose supplier selection and coordinate selection report. Lead MFT during supplier selection process through Call for tenders' processes. Negotiate contract terms and conditions; ensure contract change management, supported by contract manager. Responsible for supplier contractual review meetings. Support and contribute to supplier. About you: Buyer or supply chain Experience Technical knowledge of supply, Material, aluminium, Metal Knowing what the specification means Experience in working with international suppliers. SAP experience Comfortable in complex environment with stakeholders. Contract management Experience. CIPS qualified desirable.
