You will have a strong background in teaching ICT and Media with the ability to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that cater to a range of abilities. Your approach will be inclusive and supportive ensuring every student feels valued and motivated to succeed.You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be working closely with our students colleagues and other stakeholders to drive student progression. A commitment to innovative teaching methods and continuous improvement will be essential as will your ability to assess and monitor student progress effectively.You will be adaptable proactive and confident in creating a positive and structured learning environment. Your enthusiasm for ICT and Media and its role in shaping our students futures will be key in helping them build confidence and develop essential literacy skills. If you are committed to making a difference in students lives and have a track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning we would love to hear from you.Your responsibilitiesIn accordance with the contract of employment the teacher will develop and foster the appropriate skills and strategies to enable the optimum academic and social development of pupils according to age ability and aptitude and will:provide instruction in varying group sizes as prescribed by the schoolteach an additional subject or subjects as directed by the Head of Schoolprovide sympathetic support to encourage self-reliance responsible behaviour and self-esteemundertake other duties as the Head of School may reasonably directplan and teach well-structured lessons to assigned classesplan and prepare schemes of work and lessons incorporating National Curriculum requirements adapted to the needs abilities and interests of the pupils in your classassess monitor record and report on the learning needs progress and achievements of assigned pupils making accurate and productive use of assessmentadapt teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of pupilsset high expectations that inspire motivate and challenge pupilspromote good progress and outcomes by pupilsdemonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledgeparticipate in arrangements for preparing pupils for external testsdemonstrate highest professional and personal standards and classroom managementimplement and deliver an appropriately broad balanced relevant and differentiated curriculum for ICT and Computing to students age 7 19 including Functional and eventually GCSE ICT and Mediamonitor and support the overall progress and development of studentsfacilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potentialcontribute to maximizing of student attainmentshare and support the schools responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for personal and academic growth.Professional developmentProvide training practice and coaching so all staff become experts in teaching Maths.Attend relevant training courses and share new knowledge with colleagues.Please note that this list of duties is illustrative of the general nature and level of responsibility of the role.
