We offer treatment for both adults and children and provide world-class care to our patients.We make health happenAs a Staff Nurse you will ensure the provision of high-quality evidence-based nursing care in a clinical setting the Staff Nurse will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for the care they deliver within the Outpatient department.At Cromwell Hospital our outpatients department has a suite of 21 rooms where patients can see consultants. We also have two separate outpatient centres:Basinghall Clinic in the City and London Medical in the Harley Street district.Our specialist support services include a private GP service a minor procedure suite and diagnostic equipmentincluding MRI and CT scanners. We also have a full-service pharmacyproviding advice and both prescription and non-prescription medications as well as an on-site pathology laboratory.How youll help us make health happen:Participate in the delivery of a consistent safe service in all aspects of thepatient journey whilst demonstrating a culture of customer service.Manage care of allocated patients.Demonstrate professional awareness and accountability.Maintain requirements to ensure success in the Revalidation process.Act as a Link Nurse in a designated area reporting to and from meetings/training updates.Recognise the needs for DOLs assessments mental capacity assessmentand simple and complex safeguarding referrals and highlight any concerns.Liaise with the Support Services to ensure all non-clinical needs are metincluding the cultural sexual religious and any other special needs of thepatients.Have a working knowledge of emergency policies including cardiac arrestand fire.Deputise for the Senior Staff Nurse in their absence.Undertake clinical duties in any area that is reasonably requested ensuringthat you practice within your professional competencies and abilities.Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:Registered General Nurse and NMC PIN required.ILS qualification required.Competent with immunisation training wound care management and venepuncture.Appropriate experience in a Staff Nurse role Outpatients experience.Strong communication skills written and verbal presentation skills & reportwriting.Pleasant and cheerful manner being supportive and approachable.Why Bupa Our benefits are designed to make health happen for our people.
