We're currently looking for a Groundworks Supervisor in Corby for this commercial build starting asap, the position is with one of the UK’s leading contractors. Must have a sound understanding of groundworks including muck shift, drainage, highways, foundations & 278.Groundworks ManagerThe RoleWe are looking for an experienced site manager who has experience of working on commercial projects.You will be responsible for the day to day management of project ensuring that works are on programme, to the required levels of quality and that high levels of health and safety are maintained at all times.To be considered it is essential that you have worked on builds of this type recently. There may also be the opportunity to go onto other long term projects for the successful candidate.ExperienceMust have a sound understanding of groundworks including muck shift, drainage, highways (278), foundationsManaging all the day-to-day internal finishes including Mechanical & Electrical works.Checking quality, signing off completed sections of workTake the control of extremely detailed snagging and finishes.Coordinate the internal trades and subcontractors and push to ensure a quality finishIdeally tier one contractor experienceSMSTS QualifiedHealth & Safety Certified
