DMJ is delighted to partner with a key client in the FMCG sector to help grow their well-respected legal function with a Privacy Counsel.
The role sits within a market leading FMCG brand with a strong global presence. This well – known brand is constantly expanding, therefore making an exciting fast paced environment to work within.
Key responsibilities:
- legal advice regarding processing of personal information under EMEA wide data protection laws
- with the Global Privacy Counsel, updating and maintaining the businesses internal and external privacy policies within general best privacy practices
- EMEA privacy compliance programme
- expertise in privacy laws, including developments and emerging legislation around the region, particularly in relation to GDPR
Ideal Candidate:
- 2 - 4 years PQE
- knowledge of privacy and data protection laws and practices, including GDPR
- player with strong interpersonal skills
- to translate complex data and legal issues into essentials and effectively convey to non-legal professionals
- qualifications e.g. CIPP/E, CIPM
