Where: WalsallHours: Part time 22.5h per weekFull Time Salary: 25077.00(based on full time hours pro rata for part time)Contract Type: Fixed term for 12 months from start dateFull-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.ResponsibilitiesAbout the role:Provide a welcoming and consistent environment for Women in Probation.Create links with local communities and support women open to Probation to access further support than can empower them to make positive changes.Attend team meetings/group supervision with the aim of sharing good practice and finding solutionsMeet individuals within the community to discuss their personal goals regarding their recovery and to support families affected by drugs and alcohol to discuss their personal goals and support needsUtilise existing local resources and build local community awareness signposting to relevant agenciesAssist the Recovery Coordinator in setting up and identifying specialist advice /support and recovery opportunities.About you:Lived experience of drug or/and alcohol misuseExcellent written and verbal communication skills along with good IT skillsBe able to build relationships with individuals with multiple needs whilst remaining empathetic and non-judgemental towardService UsersConfident in working alone as well as part of a teamCan remain calm under pressureAble to travel as required including where public transport is not availableWhat we will give to you:25 days holiday ( bank holidays) rising by 1 day for each years service (pro rata for PT) Capped at 30 daysPaid Wellness hour each week along with a Wellness hub and Employee Assist ProgrammeContributory pension schemeA great selection of benefits incl. discounts for shopping cinema holidays etc.A friendly and supportive teamTraining career development & progression opportunitiesEarn vouchers in our generous Refer-a-FrienedPlease ensure that when completing your application form and supporting statement you reflect on the details outlined in the job description.
