This role involves both office-based and yard-based tasks, ensuring the smooth flow of equipment to and from the workshop, offshore locations, and third-party vendors. The role requires a hands-on approach, including forklift driving, loading/unloading equipment, maintaining asset records, and ensuring compliance with SLB’s Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards. Basic computer, MS Office skills are required, and the successful candidate must demonstrate a willingness to learn SAP systems.Responsibilities and DutiesLoad and unload trucks and shipping containers, ensuring equipment is securely fastened.Operate a forklift to move equipment safely and efficiently.Manage stock control of customer property and inventory using basic computer tools (e.g., Excel) and SAP (training will be provided).Perform basic triage on returned equipment and issue reports to applicable departments.Organize day-to-day priorities and move equipment in appropriate queues based on schedules.Manage goods in/out and ensure traceability of all equipment.Assist with asset cycle counting and maintain accurate asset registers.Ensure high levels of housekeeping in compliance with SLB standards.Adopt a continuous improvement mindset to enhance efficiency.Attend operational calls as required to review upcoming operations.Essential RequirementsExperience in either O&G industry, logistic, maintenance roles, including exposure to logistics, warehouse, workshop workflows.Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, Excel) with a willingness to learn SAP systems.Proven organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.A valid forklift license or willingness to obtain one.A valid right to work in the UK.Preferred SkillsLicense for forklift operation.Previous experience with SAP or other asset management tools (beneficial but not essential).Experience in quality control processes.Mechanical or technical background.Report writing skills.BenefitsCompetitive salary with eligibility for a 10% performance quality bonus.Overtime opportunities.Comprehensive training and development programs.Career Advancement At SLB, we believe in fostering growth and development.
