Senior Piping Designer – Water Industry (Revit) Manchester - (Hybrid) Contract - Outside of scope of IR35 Duration - 6 months We’re looking for an experienced Senior Piping Designer to support the design and coordination of complex water infrastructure projects. Working within a multi-disciplinary engineering team and reporting to the Principal Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering robust, constructible, and maintainable piping layouts using Revit in a 3D design environment. This is an exciting opportunity to get involved in critical water industry projects, with a mix of office-based (Manchester) and remote. What You’ll Be Doing: Producing high-quality 3D models and general arrangement drawings (GAs) using Revit. Designing layouts for wet and dry well pumping stations, concrete pump chambers, and ductile iron/epoxy-coated carbon steel pipework. Integrating vendor packages into plant layouts and ensuring seamless design coordination. Modelling access platforms, stairs, and handrails to meet client and industry standards. Participating in Access, Lifting, and Maintenance (ALM) reviews. Collaborating across civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines to ensure fully coordinated, clash-free models.
