This is a fantastic opportunity to start a rewarding career with Lanes Group working closely with one of our most exciting clients and contributing to their AMP8 objectives.About the RoleAs a Site Supervisor you will:Be responsible for leading operational teams within a defined catchment ensuring seamless end-to-end management of all works while delivering an exceptional customer journey. You will ensure everyone within your team is performing their responsibilities willalso includecarrying out siteinspectionscoordinatingthe crews from your depot managing any fleet issues as well as evaluating employee performance.Work with the Senior Management Team Client and Local Authority to agree extent of works and Maintain relationships throughout.Maintain positive relationships with clients addressing any concerns or requests promptly and professionally.Experience and ability to encourage and enable personal development.Work closely with planning and scheduling teams to ensure effective resource allocation job prioritisation and workforce coordination.Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the standards policies and procedures of Lanes Group and its customers.Leads and controls Civils Operatives and Gangers engaged in all activities concerned with the civil works aspects of the contract.Ability to optimise resources by ensuring that the work is scheduled out appropriately with the assistance of the scheduling team.Responsible for managing the teams fleet/plant and material requirements to ensure efficient and timely completion of the works. Able to demonstrate good organisational skills following policies procedures and work practices and developing improvements where necessary.Ability to produce method statements and procedures. Competent in reading and understanding specifications drawings and all other discipline related to workand engineering documentation. Keeps records of all work completed.Ensuring our client systems are updating in real time.Commands respect of their workforce and develops excellent working relationships with all other department personnel as well as client management.Must be a confident communicator to liaise both with internal and external clients.Able to give instructions in an efficient and effective way to the workforce and responsible for the daily management of the teams.Ability to read and interpret drawings including excavation dimensions pipe and rebar angles concrete mixtures location and placement of pipe sections and understand shoring designs.Ensures that work crews are properly supplied with tools equipment and materials. Prevents wastage and misuse of equipment materials and tools. Supervises work crews to best utilise manpower and materials exercises discipline at the work site to prevent absenteeism unsafe work practices and idleness.Familiar with all HS&E also Quality procedures regulations and strictly enforces them with the workforce under their responsibility.Responsible for the day to day well being of the teamsunder your control identifies formulates and implements training programs for the workforce under his responsibility.Complies with the highest level of safety during all stages of work to avoid any type of incidents and or accidentsAbout YouWe are looking for individuals who:Possess previous experience of supervision within the Waste Water IndustryHold a full UK driving licenseThis role is about managing people sopreviousmanagerial experienceis to get the best out of all our employees & you will be key to thisExcellent organisational skills capable of managing multiple tasks.Exceptional customer service skills.Have excellent time management skills with ability to deliver tasks to deadlineStrong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving targets.A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on achieving results.Proven experience in a previous Supervisor Role within the Utilities Sector preferably in the Drainage Industry.Working Hours & LocationShift pattern: Monday to Friday 47.5 hours per week38000 - 45000 SalaryLocation: Bradford and surrounding regional areasCompany vehicle25 days holiday Bank holidaysWhy Join Lanes GroupAt Lanes Group nothing is more important than the health safety and well-being of our people and customers.
