A fantastic and rare opportunity for a Structural Engineering Manager to join one of the most prestigious nuclear defence projects in the UK on a long term contract has arisen.Job Title - Structural Engineering ManagerLocation - ReadingContract length - 18 MonthsPay Rates - £63.29 Hour UmbrellaThis role will be fantastic for a very experienced structural engineering manager who is coming from nuclear/defence background.Key Deliverables/Experiences:A strong background in nuclear/defence in a structural engineering position.Act as the lead engineer responsible for representing the project delivery in regards to timings, safety, value and schedule adherence.Be the technical lead for your expertise and assist in all of the complex needs of such a large project.Collaborate and work with the senior engineering manager to ensure suitability and appropriateness for the engineering requirements.Serve as the primary point of focus for all design and change that is required/suggested and ensure that it aligns with project scope and budgetManage design intent and configurations from inception to project handover while providing functional support for change implementation and improvement requirements.Essential Qualifications:HNC/HND or degree qualification and ideally charteredVast CDM knowledgeA heathy background in civil/structural engineeringDemonstrable experience in leadership and team managementThis role will require clearances so please bear this in mind.
