You will have the opportunity to support the ongoing development of internal reporting, contribute to system improvements including the implementation of Netsuite, and build strong working relationships with key stakeholders across the business. This role is based initially from our Burgess Hill office and moving to our East Grinstead office around April 2026.The key responsibilities of the role will include:Assisting the Finance Manager with the production of monthly management accounts to tight reporting deadlinesAssisting with the development of internal reporting and weekly cost centre reportingSupporting the implementation of NetsuiteManaging balance sheet reconciliations, including accruals, prepayments and full maintenance of the fixed asset registerAssisting with the preparation of budgets and quarterly forecastsMaintaining detailed P&L schedules to minimise the risk of errors and omissionsLiaising with the Purchase Ledger team to manage purchase ledger cut-offAssisting with reporting requirements for GHQ and RHQ, including IFRS16 reporting and intercompany reportingSupporting the annual statutory audit and managing statutory reporting to external bodies such as the ONSProducing ad-hoc internal reports for senior management as requiredWhat we are looking forPreferably ACCA or CIMA qualified, or currently studyingProven ability to work to tight reporting deadlines and manage your own workload effectivelyExperience of supporting a software implementation and driving process improvements would be advantageousStrong ability to prepare monthly management accounts with a high degree of accuracyGood analytical skills, with the ability to understand and clearly explain variances from budgetExperience using standard accounting packages and a demonstrated ability to learn new systems with standard trainingFully conversant with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills and a working knowledge of Power BIStrong communication skills, confident working with both finance and non-finance stakeholders internally and externallyBenefitsDiscretionary company bonus schemeFollowing successful probation period opportunity for hybrid working in line with ILG policy up to 50/50 remote / office workingPension, Life Assurance, Healthshield Cash Plan and Discount Perks22 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays) increasing to 25 days after 2 complete holiday years, with the option to buy/sell holidayBirthday leaveFree on-site parking, with electric car charging at certain locationsRange of employee awardsRegular social eventsEmployee assistance programme to promote mental health wellbeingCycle to work schemeEnhanced maternity and paternity payJob Application Requirements - We welcome your application and look forward to considering you for this role.
