PSR Solutions are currently recruiting for a Permanent Design Manager in North Essex. This will be working for a reputable contractor who work within the Rail and Civils industry, They are looking to bring in someone with a strong background in Water, Rail or Infrastructure. Please see more details below. As the Design Manager, you'll: Lead and manage the Design Team and sub-contractor designers day-to-day. Work under the Framework Manager and be part of the Management Team, overseeing projects from inception to completion. Plan, allocate, and monitor resources to ensure designs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the correct standards. Oversee CDM (Construction Design & Management) and quality compliance, ensuring all designs meet water industry regulations. Mentor and develop your design team - providing leadership, guidance, and training to align with engineering standards. Drive cultural and safety change, ensuring hazards in construction and operation are eliminated or reduced. Facilitate meetings (internal and external) to review progress and resolve technical issues. Champion innovation, exploring new technologies and strategies to improve project delivery efficiency. Represent the company as an ambassador, promoting company initiatives and maintaining client relationships. They're looking for someone who has: Degree in Engineering (civil, mechanical, or similar).
