We are delighted to be working with a highly regarded full-service law firm to find a Data Privacy Officer/Lawyer to support the DPO.

The firm is proud to serve leading household names, large business, public bodies and private individuals. It offers its staff a warm and respectful working environment and understanding culture.
As the firm grows the internal risk and compliance team is expanding to meet the demands of the business a newly created role of Data Privacy Officer has been created to support the DPO.
There are plans to implement a comprehensive automated privacy framework software, and the newly appointed Data Privacy Officer will support the DPO to ensure the firm is compliant with UK GDPR. The Privacy Officer will also work closely with DPO in the review of privacy policies, execute DSARs and conduct employee training, respond to any incidents and investigations and any other day-to-day data issues that arise at the firm.
This role is an important hire for the firm and will provide strength and guidance to the internal team. We are seeking a data privacy specialist or lawyer with 3+ years of experience. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate solid knowledge of GDPR and privacy laws. You MUST have experience of dealing with DSARs and responding to the daily questions of data usage that arise in a business. A good grasp of IT systems and data security is also highly desirable. Knowledge and experience of law firm regulation and compliance will be an added advantage but is not a prerequisite to be considered for this opportunity.
The firm offers hybrid working and the role can be based out of offices in Oxford, London or Nottingham but travel between offices will be necessary to execute the required duties.
