As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalising IT projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. You will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage IT projects from initiation through to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, and timelines.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Perform risk management to minimise project risks and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyse the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered to the highest standards and meet client expectations.
  • Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, proposals, and presentations.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Conduct project evaluations and assess results to improve future projects.


Skills and Experience Required:


  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies is a plus.
