Salary is dependent on location role and qualifications.Location: Babcock Technology Centre BristolApplication closing date: 11th December 2025Programme start date: September 2026Role ID: 66883What will you do on the programmeJoin our Electrical Control and Instrumentation Engineering Graduate Programme and play your part in delivering some of the UKs most impactful engineering projects.At Babcock youll support work across various stages of the engineering lifecycle from technology innovation and concept design to production commissioning in-service support and decommissioning.You could be designing cutting-edge submarines converting military vehicles refurbishing ships or advancing next-generation nuclear power plants that support the UKs net-zero goals. You might also help build safer more efficient rail networks.Whatever youre working on youll apply your engineering knowledge to meaningful projects collaborating with experienced professionals to deliver innovative high-quality solutions.How is the programme structuredOver two years youll rotate through placements every three to six months giving you the chance to explore a variety of projects and teams. You could be designing control systems using data analytics to predict maintenance needs or creating immersive training tools using games engine technologies. With a strong focus on digital transformation and advanced engineering this is a great place to explore nuclear engineering and emerging technology.While youll join a specific business area and location placements at different sites across the UK are possible. Agile working is supported but youll be expected to work on-site multiple times a week.
