Due to growth, we have a new opportunity available for an Estimator with CAD knowledge, based in Earls Colne. This offers a salary of around £26'000 to £28'000 plus benefits.Benefits for the Estimator with CAD knowledge include ample free car parking, holiday, pension and a great working environment. The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm with 45 minutes for lunch, and Fridays are 8am to 3.30pmAs the Estimator with CAD knowledge, you will process customer orders for aluminium windows, on a system called LogiKal. The LogiKal system is the leading software package for the glazing industry, it is very similar to CAD and training will be provided. This will involve checking customer orders, raising any customer queries and entering customer orders, which is linked to the factory for production. You will also check the information on the orders to ensure compatibility with the aluminium system or product required, and advise of any cost or material variations which involves liaison with other departments, ensuring orders are issued to production as soon as possible. As the Estimator, you will also provide quotations to trade customers, on set discounts, and gain their sign off.CAD experience is highly beneficial for this role, as it is similar to the LogiKal system and your experience of looking at drawings and measurements will be highly transferable for this opportunity.Previous experience within aluminium windows using the LogiKal system would be great if you have it, but this is not needed if you have CAD knowledge.Any experience with surveys, drawings or plans, including section drawings for aluminium glazing, would be beneficial but again this is not essential.This is a fantastic opportunity working for a great company, we look forward to hearing from you
