As an Accessibility Lead and Manager on the team you will:- Drive execution governance and continuous improvement across a focus area woking with cross-functional teams.- Understand the landscape of projects in the focus area by working and building relationships with key stakeholders in cross-functional teams.- Lead and mentor a team of accessibility subject matter experts providing technical oversight career development and workload prioritization.- Support your direct reports in their technical reviews of designs code and testing methodologies stepping in for hands-on review when needed.- Deliver regular progress updates to senior leadership translating technical accessibility work into business impact and strategic recommendations.- Partner with product managers and engineering leads to integrate accessibility requirements into roadmaps and planning processes and advocate for accessibility resources and priorities in cross-functional discussions.- Lead and contribute to internal accessibility initiatives including training program development awareness events technical documentation and cross-functional education that builds organizational capability.Demonstrable experience in hiring mentoring and managing the performance of staff.Strong experience in front-end engineering or designing and developing applications in Web iOS or macOS.Understanding of WCAG 2.x guidelines and Apple Human Interface Guidelines.Knowledge of accessibility features built into Apple products and other assistive technologies.Ability to communicate and influence senior executives and stakeholders using excellent negotiation skills.Ability to make hard calls when dealing with complexity conflicting priorities and aggressive schedules.A passion for new technologies and continuous learning.Proficiency in web application development using web technologies including front-end frameworks and accessible implementations.Result-oriented and demonstrates the high degree of ownership and accountability.Promotes a team environment that values supports and encourages differences.Required Experience:Manager Key Skills Administrative Skills,Facilities Management,Biotechnology,Creative Production,Design And Estimation,Architecture Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
