This hands-on role combines maintenance, compliance, and welfare responsibilities - ideal for someone who enjoys practical work, problem-solving, and supporting others in a busy, team-oriented environment. Reporting to the Accommodation Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining high standards of welfare, safety, and presentation across staff accommodation and facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & Facilities Undertake regular inspections of accommodation and communal areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance across caravans, cottages, grounds, and shared facilities.Maintain communal areas such as laundries, showers, games rooms, and outdoor spaces to a high standard.Welfare & Support Champion staff welfare, responding promptly to concerns or issues.Welcome new arrivals and ensure they are well-informed about facilities and safety procedures.Assist in organising welfare activities and social events.Provide support during emergencies, including transport to medical facilities where necessary.Appropriately use Body Worn Video equipment for safety and reporting purposes.General & Compliance Ensure all duties comply with Health & Safety regulations and risk assessments.Participate in the on-call emergency response rota.Conduct gym inductions and ensure safe use of facilities.Provide cover for the Senior Camp Warden when required.About YouExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong practical and problem-solving abilities.Organised, reliable, and able to work independently.Flexible and adaptable with working hours.Good written and spoken English.Full clean UK driving licence (Category B)essential.What's on OfferSalary:£31,837.73 per annumPrivate medical insurancefollowing successful probationOpportunity to make a tangible impact on staff welfare and accommodation standardsSupportive and collaborative working environmentWR Engineering are the #1 recruitment partner for engineering, manufacturing & technical sales jobs.
