English Academic Mentor | Job Summary

  • Has an English related degree from a Top 20 UK University
  • English Academic Mentor – Commencing in September until the end of the academic year
  • Full-time term time only English Academic Mentor role
  • Role paying £480-£600 per week | Paid weekly on PAYE basis
  • Ideal role for an aspiring Teacher keen to gain some hands-on experience.
  • Experience working with children ideally in a school setting is desirable
 

English Academic Mentor | Job Role

  • Plan and teach English lessons to KS3 & KS4 students (with KS5 option)
  • Receive mentorship and training from an outstanding English department
  • Assist Years 7-13 students applying to Russell group and Oxbridge Universities
  • Support students in a classroom setting, 1:1, and through small group interventions
  • Increase academic progression of students
 

English Academic Mentor | School Details
 

This English Academic Mentor role is based in Tower Hamlets where the learning is second to none. The schools themselves are Ofsted “Outstanding” with amazing like-minded support staff and Teachers.
 

Work at a leading Secondary located in Central East London with a warm and welcoming environment and enabling quick and easy access to the Overground and the Central Line. Be quick, this role won’t be around for long
