Our client is a leading bank in London who are looking for a Lead IT & Operational Auditor. This would suit someone who has experience across IT audit as well as operations Audit as well.


Role Overview:


In this role, you’ll provide independent, objective assurance and insights to senior management and key stakeholders, including external auditors and regulators. Your work will support risk control, effective governance, and strategic transformation across our clients Europe, Asia & Africa region. You’ll also lead audit engagements, ensuring timely execution within agreed budgets and objectives, while working closely with portfolio owners to enhance operational resilience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage comprehensive IT and operations audit engagements across EA&A.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to develop audit plans, perform risk assessments, and provide informed recommendations.
  • Maintain oversight of audit findings, quality assurance, and alignment with professional standards.
  • Build a strategic understanding of our wholesale operations and IT infrastructure, including trading, risk, and settlement systems.
  • Actively engage in ongoing transformation, innovation, and digitalization initiatives, offering valuable insights and assurance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Extensive background in IT and Operations Audits within banking.
  • Skills: Knowledge of key commercial banking and audit systems, IT security, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Professional Credentials: Relevant certifications such as CIA or CISA.
