We have built and maintained excellent working relationships with our local authorities, something on which we pride ourselves. This role is ideally suited to somebody who has previous worked in a local authority planning environment, with experience of making amendments to applications.

We specialise in a range of developments and services, including:

  • Rural planning including barn conversions
  • Equestrian planning and farm workers' dwellings
  • Planning advice and design
  • Building control advice and submissions
  • Surveys and reports
  • Project management
  • Personalised Interior Design service
  • Home store


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to develop detailed architectural drawings and designs using software such as SolidWorks, Rhinoceros 3D, Schematics, Sketchup, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Revit, and 3ds Max.
  • Liaising with local councils and amending planning applications.
  • Create accurate and precise architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details.
  • Develop construction documents including drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Conduct site visits to gather information and measurements for design purposes.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure accurate implementation of design plans.
  • Prepare presentations and visualisations for client meetings.
  • Levels plans and surveys, splay surveys.
  • 3d GIS


Experience:

  • Proficiency in architectural software such as SolidWorks, Rhinoceros 3D, Schematics, Sketchup, ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, Revit, and 3ds Max.
  • Strong understanding of architectural principles and design concepts.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.


Note:

Experience in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is essential for this role.
