As an English Graduate, you will assist with English Language and Literature, developing key reading and writing skills and helping pupils prepare for GCSE exams.The school is particularly keen to meet an English Graduate who can inspire a love for reading and bring creativity to intervention sessions. This English Graduate role would suit someone considering a PGCE or career in publishing, teaching or literacy development.Key responsibilities: Delivering structured interventions in reading and writing Supporting small groups with GCSE English preparation Encouraging discussion, debate, and text analysis Promoting independent learning and study techniques Supporting the English department with planning and markingWere looking for: A 2:1 or higher in English Literature, Language or similar Previous experience working with children desirable (but not essential) A confident communicator with a strong academic background A passion for literature and inclusive education Commitment to the full academic yearPlease note:This role is only open to UK Bachelor degree holders.
