A growing FinTech business is looking to recruit a proactive and dynamic Executive Assistant to support the Chief Banking Officer with her busy workload as she sets up a new arm of the business.

Due to the early stage of the project it will be particularly busy setting up processes and procedures. This could include liaising with companies house, legal representatives, I.T providers and clients.

This is a not a traditional EA position as it offers lots of involvement with business operations and compliance administration. The successful postholder will be heavily relied on to think on their feet and pre-empt situations. This is a unique opportunity in a fast growing business that offers excellent opportunities to develop.

This is a small business, with a genuinely nice team of people. The founder is a family orientated person and believes in developing people, trusting in them and giving autonomy. There can be flex on start / finish times for the right person.

Responsibilities include:

-Time management including the proactive and effective scheduling of meetings both internally and externally

-Understanding the importance of highlighting and flagging upcoming critical deadlines in regard to regulatory compliance and legal documents that need to be signed.

-Email management including responding to queries, flagging queries for review.

-Researches, prioritises and follows up on incoming issues and concerns including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate course of action, referral, or response.

- Liaising with high profile clients when needed

-Act as the main point of contact, acting as the gatekeeper and acting in a friendly and polite manner whilst knowing when to be firm

-Support with ongoing projects, requesting and collating information from employees and third-party suppliers

- Implement process’s and procedures between internal teams and improve communication flow

- Arrange and book travel predominantly to events and conferences within the industry

-A broad variety of administrative tasks including financial administration, expenses, managing virtual and in-person meetings, proof-reading documents, creating/updating PowerPoint presentations and updating documents and agreements
