This is a permanent role overseeing a growing team of Accounts Payable Clerks. The Subcontractor Team Leader role is office-based and requires someone local with recent construction industry experience (and recent COINS usage would be highly beneficial).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and support the team of dedicated Accounts Payable professionals

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices

  • Perform statement reconciliations

  • Deal with supplier and internal enquiries

  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for all Subcontract Ledger subledgers and resolving aged debit and credit balances

  • Produce weekly payment runs

  • Become proficient in the use of COINS for Subcontract Ledger

  • Streamline and optimise Accounts Payable processes to enhance efficiency

  • Implement and maintain best practices in Accounts Payable

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • 3+ years experience working in Accounts Payable

  • Construction industry experience (CIS/VAT/DRC)

  • Experience working within a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
