Offshore Field Engineer

Job descriptionTampnet is now looking for a Offshore Field Engineer to join our team.This position is open to be filled in UK Norway or the Netherlands. In this position you will be responsible for the installation commissioning and maintenance of the Tampnet infrastructure at on- and offshore locations. You will make a strong contribution to quality and work closely with Project Managers NOC (Network Operation Center) and the Operational team.By joining Tampnet you will be a part of an exciting Company with an entrepreneurial mindset. Job requirementsMain responsibility and tasksSurvey Installation Commissioning and maintenance of Microwave radio links LTE/4G VSAT and network equipment offshore globallyMechanical Assembly of large antennasElectrical connectivity of devicesPreparation testing and staging of equipmentIncident investigation / handling at on and offshore locationsClose co-operation with Project Managers and EngineersCreation and revision of Tampnet Site DocumentationContribute to a positive working environment in the team / departmentQualification requirementsPrevious telecommunications experiencePrevious offshore experienceA health declaration is part of the application procedureFlexible inquisitive and relevant educationGood knowledge of the English languageRelevant and valid offshore certificationsAs a part of Tampnets ESG responsibility we have the ambition to build a strong diverse and inclusive company culture with a focus on gender equality.
