We help our partners optimise their supply chain and commercial operations through insight-led decision-making.We are looking for a Category Analyst to play a key role in working with some of the UK’s biggest retailers and supply chains, driving performance improvements across product ranges, store execution, and supplier engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesData Analytics & Category ManagementConduct KPI performance reviews, including base-level and historical performance analysis.Deliver enhanced reactive and proactive volume planning.Lead range reviews that deliver value for consumers, retailers, and suppliers.Carry out pack size, sustainability, product life, and rate-of-sale suitability assessments.Analyse store-level performance, including space allocation, replenishment cycles, and rate-of-sale patterns.Evaluate order profile accuracy and assess fit-for-sales.Manage new line set-ups and provide post-implementation insights.Complete distribution assessments and support short- and long-term range review initiatives.Deliver range cube analysis, segmentation, and clustering reviews.Provide planogram analysis, recommendations, and implementation support.Supplier ServiceFacilitate regular category performance reviews with suppliers and retailer partners.Provide best-practice guidance and support to new internal colleagues.Offer supplier product performance insight and strategic recommendations.Conduct region, format, and store-specific analysis.Review seasonality behaviour and support seasonal implementation planning.Evaluate promotional performance, including halo and victim impacts.Assess secondary space implementation and its impact on category performance.Business Development & Stakeholder ManagementManage category management relationships across supermarkets and fresh food suppliers.Build strong, trusted partnerships with retailers—becoming their go-to source for impartial, actionable advice.Act as a key liaison between supplier sites and retailer stakeholders.Demonstrate value by identifying and delivering opportunities that optimise category performance.Upsell within the existing client base and support the development of new business opportunities.Identify and pursue opportunities to engage and onboard new clients.
