You'll be part of the newly formed Client Experience & Data Platform team, a dynamic group focused on transforming how we deliver insights and services across the Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) division. As a Senior AI Engineer, you'll play a critical role in designing scalable AI/ML solutions, deploying models into production and integrating them into existing systems. You'll also support the development of others through coaching and team leadership, helping to grow our internal capability. This is a hands-on technical role with strategic impact, offering the chance to work with diverse data sources and contribute to high-profile initiatives that influence business decisions and customer outcomes. What you'll be doing:Design and implement reusable patterns, tooling and templates to streamline model deployment.Scale AI/ML solutions across strategic infrastructure and integrate them into live systems.Analyse complex data from multiple sources to identify trends and business impacts.Lead or contribute to the development of data management systems and procedures.Coach and mentor team members, supporting their growth and development.Identify and deliver improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures. What you'll need:Strong experience in deploying AI/ML models into production environments.Confirmed experience of GCP.Proficiency in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.Experience leading or coaching technical teams in a collaborative environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and drive insights.A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
