This position will require frequent travel and weekend availability.
Position Overview:
The Regional Targeted Retail Sales Manager is responsible for driving the sales performance and growth of TRO within the assigned region for the Ploom heated tobacco campaign. This role involves managing a team of retail sales staff operating in key account and independent retailers, developing, and executing sales strategies whilst ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Field Manager and Project team to align regional objectives with the overall corporate strategy.

Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales management, preferably within the tobacco or FMCG industry.
- Proven record of accomplishment of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Experience in managing and developing a sales team.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to develop and execute targeted sales plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Knowledge of category and regulatory requirements related to tobacco products is an asset.
Working Conditions:
- Candidate must be car owner with business insurance cover.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Ability to lift and carry promotional materials and equipment.
Pay & Benefits:
Rate - £18.50ph
Hours – 8 hours per day, 5 days per week. 40 hours per week. (Currently Tuesday-Saturday)
Laptop and Phone provided for work and business use.
Business and Travel Expenses – Reimbursed Mileage – Paid at the rate of 0.34p per mile.
Start Date and Training – Week commencing 30th September in London with in-field days the week prior or immediately following the training
End date - 14th December 2024
