Welcome to Buckinghamshire Golf Club
Found in Denham, the Buckinghamshire Golf Club is a private members club with an idyllic 18-hole championship golf course and clubhouse.
The golf course was designed by legendary Ryder Cup Captain, John Jacobs who went to great lengths to turn the estate's rolling parkland into a mature and challenging golf course beyond its years.
The club has the honour of being the Home of the Ladies European Tour and testament to the quality of the course we have hosted many previous professional events over the years. Including the most recent Rose Ladies Series, the Anderson Consulting World Match Play, European Seniors Tournament of Champions hosted by Gary Player and ISPS HANDA Ladies European Masters.
An incredible opportunity has become available to join Buckinghamshire Golf Club as a Qualified PGA Professional. This is a great opportunity to join a newly refurbished golf club in Buckinghamshire.
The successful candidate ideally has previous experience in a golf industry, a strong passion for golf. You will be an efficient self-starter who has excellent attention to detail, team spirit, ability to work well under pressure while displaying fantastic member service skills.
Job specifications:
- Assist the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Manager with all aspects of the daily golf operations.
- Provide outstanding luxury service to members and their guests in line with the club's vision & mission statement.
- Assist the Golf Operations Manager with all aspects of the Pro Shop including inventory, merchandising, pricing and monthlystock takes.
- Perform club repairs and fittings.
- Assist the Director of Golf with all aspects of the club's competitions including club majors and monthly competitions.
- Previous work experience in a golf environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure.
- Demonstrate self-confidence, energy, enthusiasm and be a good team player.
- Computer literate & able to work with Microsoft Office systems.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities, whilst handling a multitude of tasks and member's requests.
