The role involves supporting product compliance research, monitoring EU Directives and regulations, and reviewing updates to the EU Official Journal and UK Government websites.The role suits a candidate with excellent attention to detail, experience in manufacturing and European law, and strong reporting skills.Key responsibilities include: * Collaborating with Engineers across Technical Centres, European subsidiaries, and the overseas headquarters. * Ensuring all legislative requirements are met, and product documentation remains complete, up to date, and legally sound. * Responding to technical queries from customers. * Potential future training to become an internal auditor, conducting audits under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.Requirements:To succeed in this role, you should have: * A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic Chemical or Environmental Engineering, or related fields such as law or sustainability. * Experience in report writing. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills to produce detailed technical reports. * The ability to occasionally travel to Europe. * Curiosity and a strong desire to learn and study. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Desirable: * Previous experience with standards, regulations, and directives. * Background in a manufacturing company. * Experience collaborating with test houses or notified bodies. * Internal auditor experience
