Assistant Quantity Surveyor

They are dedicated to delivering innovative, well-designed homes that maximize space efficiency while providing luxury accommodations at competitive prices.About the opportunity:We are looking for a Trainee or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team and perform the following: * Procurement Support: Help manage the procurement process by assisting with tender evaluations and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors. * Produce and send enquiries to subcontractors inviting them to tender and engagement with supply chain. * Receive and analyse quotations, liaising with Contracts Managers and Site Agents regarding price, proven history, availability etc. * Notify in writing both successful and unsuccessful subcontractors in a timely manner. * Produce and process formal subcontract documents and certify interim and final payments and final subcontract account. * Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations.About the benefits and rewards:The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to £35k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.About the requirements: * Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management preferred. * Ability to work on own as well as part of a team * Excellent attention to detail and demonstrates ability to meet deadlines. * IT literate and the ability to adapt to new systems. * Committed to inclusion and diversity
