Electrical EstimatorLooking for a lead position working collaboratively in friendly management team? Experience in winning electrical projects in the commercial/industrial sectors with ambition to help grow the estimating department?An established M&E business, based in the Merseyside area are looking for an ambitious Electrical Estimator to join their well performing management team. You (the candidate) will have the chance to prove yourself within a company looking to expand correctly, this opportunity has great potential to develop.Responsibilities • Initial stages will include producing accurate quotations for D&B commercial projects in various sectors, all round assistance with the tendering process. • Tendering for works in a mixture of sectors (Full Electrical Services) • General assistance with the wider business in winning new works • Retrieving quotes and competitive process from suppliers and sub-contractors • Take offs from Drawings Interpretation of specification/Drawings to project needs • Technical Liaison with externals (clients, suppliers, sub-contractors) • Willing to develop your role and advance your responsibilities further, for which you will be rewarded accordingly.Experience Required • Comfortable with working independently on tendering work on full electrical services (small power, lighting, security systems, fire alarms etc) • Previous experience working on projects worth at least £1,000,000 • Able to use Microsoft packages and read/interpret drawings • NVQ, HNC or relative electrical qualifications is essential to the role • Experience as an electrician or ability to design would be an advantagePackage • Salary negotiable depending on experience (circa £55,000 to £60,000) • Car Allowance • 25 days holiday + bank holidays • Bonus structure • 5% pension • 37.5 hours working week • Reasonable flexibility to aid a healthy work/life balance
