Sales Account Manager

- Successfully negotiating sales of supply and installation of products within the product portfolio either domestic or commercial
- Responding daily to fresh enquiries alongside other staff who would assist in qualifying, converting sales and completing site surveys
- Managing ongoing trade accounts, quote and follow up by email and phone
- Meeting clients on site and assisting with surveys
- Specifying for the job correctly enabling the project to proceed without snagging
- Taking on new customers, and managing existing accounts with professionalism, enabling increased profits.
- Creating and executing a business development plan to generate new business within defined markets and geography to meet business goals.
- Liaising with other staff across the group to keep customers happy and increase profits.
- Taking part in sales and marketing meetings and discussions, offering positive contributions.
- Assisting in the accurate purchase of goods for each order when necessary.
- Previous experience in a similar role - the role would suit someone with experience selling outdoor living products, or with experience in industrial or manufacturing sales, or with higher value home improvement products.
- Previous success in a business development role with demonstrable track record in achieving and exceeding targets
- Strong negotiation skills and focused on profitability and maximising opportunities
- Excellent rapport builder who grows and develops lasting relationships with customers
- Driven, confident and tenacious
