The role offers a salary of up to £35,000 depending on experience and superb career prospects along with great benefits including holidays that rise to 28 days plus bank holidays over time along with your birthday as an extra day off and a half day for Christmas shopping, support for professional qualifications, free parking, staff rewards and social events What will you be doing as a Senior Third Party Claims Handler:You will be managing a portfolio of claims, whilst providing excellent service to policy holders throughout the claim. Emphasis is on proactive claim handling and delivering an excellent customer service experience. Duties will include:· Providing point of contact for any incoming broker query or complaints and ensuring these are actioned as appropriate· Ensuring timely allocation of tasks within department, company and FCA guidelines.· Managing the policyholders' full expectations· Keeping Brokers and Policyholders fully updated throughout the claim· Managing complaints with confidence with minimum assistance from team leader and manager· Coaching and mentoring staff providing the relevant training as part of that role· Providing support and advice to junior staff daily· Monitoring the departments workload, prioritising junior staff tasks and ensuring no backlog develops· Assisting with team/department reports and audits in absence of more Senior Claim HandlersWe would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:· Strong previous experience in a similar Senior Claims Handler role with handling 3rd party claims · The proven ability to train and mentor junior staff· Either hold a CII Certificate or willing to work towards this · Dip CII would be advantageous but not essential · Confident negotiate with the ability to influence outcomes · Strong customer care skills with active listening skills · General skills in Word, Excel and Outlook
