This role will work on temp to perm basis however may be considered immediately permanent for the right candidate.

Role: Machine Operator

Location: Glossop

Salary: Depending on experience

Hours: Days. Candidates must be flexible for other shifts during busy periods.

Your role as a Machine Operator will include:

  • Operating machinery to assist with the manufacturing process
  • Working at the end of the line to ensure finished products are checked and packed before dispatch
  • Performing quality checks on finished products, testing suitability and ensure they meet the correct standards
  • Labelling finished products and packaging
  • Changing the line where necessary
  • Supplying raw materials
  • Storing finished products until they are ready to be dispatched
  • Completing manual handling and lifting tasks where necessary

Skills required for this role:

  • Must be physically fit as this is a demanding role
  • Previous experience operating machinery is a must
