Location: St Paul’s, London (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)Salary: £65,000We’re looking for an experienced Software Asset Manager Associate to join our financial services client and help manage the full software lifecycle across a global organisation. This role is critical in ensuring compliance, optimising licensing, and reducing financial and reputational risk through robust governance and best practices.Key ResponsibilitiesEnforce Software Governance and implement SAM best practices.Review and interpret EULAs and software contracts, working closely with Legal and Procurement.Manage and maintain software licence entitlements and ensure contract compliance.Produce Effective License Positions (ELPs) for Tier 1 vendors (Oracle or IBM advantageous).Support both BAU activities and project-based requirements.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive compliance and cost optimisation.Contribute to CMDB development and maintain accurate asset records.What We’re Looking ForStrong experience in Software Asset Management and licensing compliance.Ability to work with virtualised environments and complex infrastructures.Skilled in relationship management and confident in presenting to senior stakeholders.Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.Familiarity with SAM tools (Certero, Flexera, Snow) is desirable.
